    Research Interests

  • He systematically revealed the dynamic mechanisms of nucleic acid intrachain collision of single stranded DNA, hybridization of hairpin DNA and double stranded DNA, and nucleic acid modification. He described the dynamic behavior of knot motion in the folding of protein TrmD. He found that kinetics play central role in the protection and quality control of biogenesis of outer membrane proteins. His primary research interests are the dynamic mechanisms of biomolecular reactions studied via single molecule detection. Special focus is on nucleic acid modification and protection and quality control of biogenesis of outer membrane proteins. .
