On Dec. 12th 2011, BIOPIC hosted Dr. LIN Jianhua, President of Chong Qing University. Prof. Sunney Xie gave President Lin a detailed overview of the center’s construction in various aspects, including recruitment, infrastructure, funding and research projects. He also introduced new PIs to President Lin. Afterwards President Lin made a tour of major labs accompanied by BIOPIC PIs.

 

President Lin was the deputy vice president of PKU before moving to Chong Qing University. It was with his vision and under his strong support that Peking University launched BIOPIC.

 

Presidents Lin expressed the best wishes for BIOPIC and hoped that there would be opportunities for future collaboration between the center and Chong Qing University.
